We'll have a full day of great programming to celebrate the holiday and mid-winter's break from Seattle Schools. See all we have planned below:

11am-1pm: Ozobots drop-in Station
Help us build a smart city for our army of Ozobots – small toy robots that follow lines & read color! Your kids will have a blast as they play with these robots which can be programmed screen-free! This playful drop-in activity is great for 7 to 10 year olds and their friends, but all ages are welcome.

11:15am: Paper software demos
Join one of LCM+L’s museum guides as they take you on a guided demonstration of some of the oldest computer software, paper! Learn how people programmed with punch cards, paper tape, and the challenges from it.

1:15pm: Xerox Spotlight
Xerox revolutionized the computer industry with their game changing technology, join one of LCM+L’s museum guides as they showcase the history of one of the biggest computer systems that you’ve never heard of and the companies ups and downs.

2:00pm: BASIC Programming on the APPLE IIE
Join our LCM+L engineers in the 80s classroom for a lesson on BASIC programming on our the Apple IIe.
This is best for retro-enthusiasts 12+ years with basic experience with command line and algebra.

3:15pm: 20 years of Computer History
Join one of LCM+L’s museums guides as they take you on tour through some of history's oldest working machines and the series of rapid changes in technology all within 20 years

4:00pm: BASIC Programming on the APPLE IIE
Join our LCM+L engineers in the 80s classroom for a lesson on BASIC programming on our the Apple IIe.
This is best for retro-enthusiasts 12+ years with basic experience with command line and algebra.
